Want to dip your toes into bag-making with a project that’s fun, functional, and totally beginner-friendly? Come spend a cozy afternoon in the studio sewing your very own Lagom fabric storage basket - perfect for holding yarn, toys, craft supplies, pantry goods, or anything that needs a beautiful home.

Over this four-hour workshop, you’ll learn the foundations of bag construction in a relaxed, supportive environment. We’ll walk through cutting your pieces, adding interfacing for structure, sewing crisp seams, and boxing corners so your basket stands tall and looks polished. You’ll leave with a finished fabric basket and the confidence to make many more at home.

This is a great class if you’re newer to sewing, returning after a break, or just want a satisfying one-day project that feels both achievable and delightful.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:

  • How to cut and prepare fabric for structured projects
  • Working with interfacing for stability
  • Sewing crisp seams and boxed corners

Perfect for:

  • Beginners and confident beginners
  • Anyone wanting a gentle introduction to bag-making
  • Sewists who love beautiful organization and useful projects
