Bring your own projects for self-guided sewing in community!

Friday Sewing Society runs from 12-3 pm throughout the season. You can sign up for a single session or multiple sessions (discount is below).

Friday sewing is open to everyone, regardless of skill level or sewing experience. Whether you're brand new to sewing or you know what you're doing and just want to pencil some creative time into your schedule, come join us and sew in a warm and inclusive environment, in our bright and welcoming studio space. You'll have access to our space and work/cutting tables, shared tools and notions (sewing tools, rotary cutters and mats, rulers, irons, pressing and tailoring tools, and more).

Experienced sewist Katelyn Evans will act as your general sewing chaperone – offering guidance and support as you work through your own projects.

Time: 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Location: Guelph Studio Space, 77 Suffolk St. W., Guelph

Cost: $25 per session (BYO sewing machine); machine rental available at an extra cost (see below).

Multi-Class Discount: If you register for 6 or more sessions at once, you'll automatically get a 15% discount. This discount will automatically be applied to your cart at checkout (you should see the code FRIDAYVIP).

To register for multiple days at once, you will have to select each date and then add to your cart one at a time. 

What to bring: Your sewing machine (if you'll be using it - hand sewing also welcome!), sewing kit, thread, your project, and any other supplies you'll need. We remove outdoor footwear in the studio, so please wear cozy socks or bring indoor slippers. Feel free to bring food/drinks - we have access to a kitchenette and fridge and have a kettle and a selection of tea and coffee to share.

Sewing machine rental: Sewing machine rentals are available on a first come, first served basis, at an additional cost of $10 per session. Please email katherine@tinycheerhandmade.com to reserve a sewing machine and arrange payment.

Missed classes: Refunds for missed classes are not provided, but you're welcome to make up a missed class on another day, space permitting. If you must miss class, just send me a quick email to let me know which date you'd like to attend instead.
